Kathy Bloemker PT, MSPT
Kathy Bloemker, PT, MSPT brings over 20 years of experience and passion for treating pelvic floor and women’s health patients. Pelvic floor complications, during the delivery of her first child, sparked a strong calling to provide women with pelvic floor recovery and treatments. She has dedicated her career to empowering women to get the treatment they deserve.
Kathy graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Des Moines University in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1994. She began specializing in women’s health physical therapy in 1997. She has worked in a variety of settings, from inpatient to outpatient, and along side physicians/providers in Obstetric and Gynecology medical offices. Kathy worked as a Women’s Health physical therapy coordinator in Council Bluffs, Iowa and Omaha, Nebraska. She brought access to pelvic floor treatments to communities that had limited to no women’s health physical therapy in Kansas, Missouri, and Minnesota. She proudly returned to her home state of Nebraska and is thrilled to be working at Nebraska Core and Pelvic Therapy.
Kathy is skilled in internal pelvic floor muscle examinations and treatments and specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction, including pain with intercourse, urinary incontinence, pregnancy and postpartum care, abdominal health, pelvic pain and breast cancer recovery. Kathy utilizes Myofascial Decompression techniques (a type ofcupping) during her treatments.
Kathy has completed a multitude of courses over the years, beginning with training from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. She has spoken to professional groups, including physicians, providers and medical residents. She also spoke at a Kansas state physical therapy conference.
Kathy and her husband, Bradley, who is an OB/GYN physician, have two children and two golden retrievers, Husker and Apollo. Their daughter Malia works at Emory University Brain Health Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Their son Zach attends graduate school at Cleveland University-Kansas City studying to become a chiropractor. They enjoy lake activities, traveling and visiting their children.

Dr. Kelly Djernes PT, DPT
Dr. Kelly Djernes has always been fascinated by the awe-inspiring complexity of our human anatomy. She believes our bodies are designed to move and have an amazing capacity to heal themselves when trained to move properly. Dr. Kelly earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and has been practicing outpatient physical therapy in the Omaha area since 2012. She enjoys helping people regain their prior level of function and return to the activities they love. During her pregnancy and postpartum phase with her first daughter, Dr. Djernes felt a calling to help other women navigate the unique physical challenges that accompany motherhood. She has earned a Certificate of Achievement in Obstetric Physical Therapy (CAPP-OB) through the American Physical Therapy Association and has completed specialized training in the evaluation and treatments of pelvic floor conditions through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute. Dr. Kelly believes that mothers have miraculous, life-giving bodies that are often neglected due to the demands of parenting. It is her mission to educate and empower pregnant and postpartum women to rediscover fitness and strength in their new bodies.
Dr. Djernes has been blessed with a loving husband, Nick, and three rambunctious daughters: Brenna, Adelynn, and Willa. Together they enjoy exploring the great outdoors, reading storybooks (but mostly just ‘Going on a Bear Hunt’ over and over again), making messes, and performing musical numbers to an audience of stuffed animals.

Dr. Anna Drumm PT, DPT
Dr. Anna Drumm is an Omaha native. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City in 2015. Anna has been practicing physical therapy in the Omaha area since then, and has worked with a wide variety of conditions and patient populations.
After her first pregnancy, Anna felt a calling to pursue more education on women’s health and conditions related to pregnancy and postpartum. She is excited to help other women navigate the unique challenges that arise during motherhood. Anna has training in pelvic floor conditions from the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, and she is a certified Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist. She is also certified in trigger point dry needling through Kinetacore. When she’s not working, Anna spends her time with her husband Wes, their daughter Natalie, and their dog, Jax. Dr. Shannon Flint PT, DPT
Shannon is an Omaha native. She graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2013 with her doctorate of physical therapy. She started her career in neuro rehabilitation and helped develop an inpatient continence speciality program to address bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction symptoms for individuals who suffered from a stroke, orthopedic trauma, or cardiopulmonary conditions. She went on to complete a Women’s Health Physical Therapy Residency Program at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
After moving back to Omaha in 2019, she helped develop pelvic health services at a hospital-based outpatient clinic in Council Bluffs and then worked at a hospital-based outpatient clinic in Omaha for 4 years treating adults with pelvic health related symptoms and conditions.
Shannon is currently one of six physical therapists in the state of Nebraska who is a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Women’s Health Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She has a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification through Core Exercise Solutions. She has taken over 400 hours of pelvic health related continuing education courses thus far. She loves learning and is in constant pursuit of wanting to better herself for the care of her clients.
Shannon truly believes in taking a whole person approach to her practice and building a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. She believes her role is more of a facilitator or coach working alongside her clients to help them discover healing within themselves and encouraging self advocacy for their overall health and wellness. She recognizes the importance of collaborating and referring clients to other healthcare professionals to fully serve each client’s individual needs and goals.
Shannon resides in the Omaha area with her husband, Cory, and their son, Arthur. They have a black lab mix named Nadiya. Emily Lingerfelt PT, MScPT
Emily Lingerfelt is a passionate Physical Therapist. Having received her education at Queen’s University in Canada, Emily began her career in orthopedic care in Toronto. Her emergent focus concerns women’s health. She has received training in pelvic floor assessment. She hopes to continue her development as a pelvic floor physical therapist with courses in pre- and postnatal care, sexual dysfunction, incontinence and many other areas!
She is pursuing doula training concurrent with her development as a Physical Therapist to help the mamas she treats in another way. She feels it is important for women to have the support they want during their birth as well as before and after. Emily seeks to heal, as well as motivate her clients.
Emily is thrilled to be back in her hometown of Omaha, where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, focusing on development before continuing on to her Master’s in Physio at Queens.
When she is not at work, Emily can be found at home spending time with her partner, Tyler, and their two adorable pets, Millie and Gus. She loves cooking for her family and friends and always tries to make time for a little dancing, yoga or outdoor playtime!

Dr. Lindsey Sandau-Tomlin PT, DPT
Dr. Lindsey Sandau-Tomlin received her Bachelor in Science in Exercise Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2007. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2010. After graduation, Lindsey worked at a small critical access hospital in Iowa, providing care in inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, and home health settings. She then worked in Omaha where she split her time between two clinics, including a Pelvic Health clinic and a clinic specializing in post amputation care & prosthetic training. Lindsey and her husband relocated to Colorado in 2014 where she worked at an outpatient orthopedic clinic focused on Women’s & Pelvic Health. Lindsey has been back in Nebraska since 2022. She currently specializes in Pregnancy, Postpartum Therapy and Pelvic Health Therapy –including constipation, urinary leakage, and pelvic pain. In 2015, Lindsey received her Certificate of Achievement in Pelvic Physical Therapy (CAPP- Pelvic) through the Section on Women’s Health. Lindsey has taken specialty courses in Obstetrics and Labor & Delivery, as well as courses through the Institute of Physical Art. In 2023, she began coursework through The Postural Restoration Institute. Lindsey completed training as a Certified Lactation Counselor in 2018. Dr. Krysta Winkelmann PT, DPT
Dr. Krysta was born and raised in Omaha, NE. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2013 and has been practicing in Omaha for the last 11 years. She has experience with a variety of diagnoses. She is certified through Myopain in Trigger Point Dry Needling and incorporates her dry needling expertise frequently into her practice.
After her unplanned C-section with her daughter, Nora, Dr. Krysta felt a calling to switch gears into the women’s health world. She has gained so much empathy for women and loves to see women have healthy, successful, and enjoyable pregnancies and deliveries. She realizes the huge impact that carrying babies can have on our bodies as we age and truly enjoys helping women of all ages improve their quality of life through movement and education. Dr. Krysta is a spin instructor at Elevate Cycling and Fitness and coaches volleyball with Premier Volleyball in her spare time. She is married to her husband Brandon and together have two daughters, Nora and Ada, an angel baby, Nolan, and their German Shepard/Lab mix, Ozzie.
